SealFLEX FR400

SEALFLEX-FR400 Sealant is a specifically developed flexible solvent free neutral cure gunnable sealant for fire resistant sealing of joints and service penetrations. SEALFLEX-FR 400 tested up to 4 hours in accordance with ASTM E 814 (UL1479) , UL 2079 & CAN/ULC-S115 . SEALFLEX-FR Sealant bonds to masonry, concrete, calcium silicate board, plasterboard, metal and cable coverings and remains flexible after curing to accommodate thermal movement.

Sealflex FR400 can be applied by hand, trowel or air operated gun. For larger applications it can be pumped directly from the pail. Sealflex FR400 is applicable for through fire stop penetrations and for floor to wall, floor-to-floor and head of wall applications. It is flexible and is ideal for applications where joint expansion and contraction can occur. Apply required depth of sealant beginning on the edge of the opening (use over various backing materials required ) Insure that the sealant makes complete contact with the inside surface of the opening and also the surface of the penetrating items. On joints, the surfaces should be clean and free from duct, dirt, oil, grease, loose material, rust or other substances. Apply the required thickness in the joint or over the insulation if required.

SEALFLEX FR400 has a shelf life of twelve months from date of manufacture when stored in the original unopened container in dry, shaded conditions.
