Life- Long Anti Termite Protective Coating

Application
(a) Surface Preparation
Surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free of any oil, grease or dirt. Patch and repair cracks, blisters and other problem areas using suitable materials recommended by ORGANIX technical support. Any existing coating must be checked for good adhesion. The loose existing systems should be removed well. Clean by wire brush and use pressured air to blow out all the dust.
(b) Application
Tools or equipments to be used for the application
1. Roller (Short nap roller)
2. Brush (Good quality synthetic bristle brush)
3. Spray (Airless Sprayer, 1gpm, 3,000 psi, .027 or .031 tip)
(c)Coating Application
Product can be safely sprayed, brushed or rolled onto concrete or timber, even whilst building is inhabited. Can be applied in all weather conditions, wind, heat, cold but not if substrate has been wet previously- if so allow substrate to dry for 12-16 hours before application. Once applied there is no withholding period & future rain will not cause the product to leech from the substrate. All surface -preparation materials must be allowed to dry prior to application of the TermShield coating. Immediately prior to application of the coating, all dust, dirt and other contaminants should be blown off the roof surfaces using compressed air. To achieve consistent finish, application must use consistent motion, pressure, distance and angle. For best application results, two coats with drying between are recommended. Always maintain a wet edge and work to corners or joints. For best consistency, use finish with the same batch number within a wall section. Keep container closed when not in use. Apply in a liberal coat until surface is saturated. Porous surfaces may require minimum two coats

Storage
Store materials between 40°-90°F with careful handling to prevent damage to products. If conditions exceed these ranges, special consideration in storage must be taken. Do not store at high temperatures in direct sunlight. Shelf life under normal conditions in closed container will be 12 months.
