Instructions for Use:

Bonding Fresh Concrete to Hardened Concrete:
Apply EB406 by brush, roller, squeegee, or spray to the prepared, existing concrete substrate. Place fresh concrete onto the applied EB406 while it is still tacky. Open time typically ranges from 2 to 4 hours at 25°C to 35°C. At warmer temperatures, open time reduces. If EB406 loses tackiness or exceeds open time, abrade the epoxy surface, clean it, re-apply EB406, and proceed.

Bonding Hardened Concrete to Hardened Concrete:
Apply EB406 evenly using a spatula, brush, or trowel to both surfaces. Ensure uniform coating before joining the surfaces. Hold or clamp firmly until the epoxy gels. A small amount of adhesive should ideally exude from the joint. Surfaces must be mated while the adhesive is still tacky.

Anchoring Bolts, Dowels, and Pins:
EB406 can be used neat or as a mortar for grouting vertically aligned anchors into a horizontal substrate. Ensure the anchor hole is free of debris before grouting.

Patching and Repairs:
Apply EB406 as a primer coat to the prepared concrete surface. Use a trowel or spatula to apply the prepared EB406 mortar mix in lifts before the primer becomes tack-free.

Setting Ports & Sealing Cracks:
Place a small amount of mixed EB406 on the back of the port and carefully center it over the crack, ensuring not fill the injection port hole. Allow the mortar to harden sufficiently before injecting.

Pick-Proof Sealant:
Apply a bead of EB406 to the joints and areas being sealed. Finish by striking off the epoxy with a rounded spatula or similar tool.
