TEMP SHIELD Elastomeric Radiation Control Coating is a high-quality liquid ceramic thermal insulation coating made from premium acrylic resins, high-quality ceramic, and silica particles encased in a durable latex emulsion. It dries through evaporation to create a tough, velvety, non-yellowing, water-repellent surface with exceptional abrasion resistance and UV stability. When applied directly to rust, it immediately converts iron oxide to iron phosphate, preventing further rust issues.

The ceramic particles in TEMP SHIELD contribute to heat dissipation, helping to reduce cooling costs. It forms a robust, watertight membrane and can be tinted with universal tints, though it should be restricted to the first shade of pastel colors. Please avoid using black pigmentation for tinting.

Surfaces should be clean, dry, and sound. Existing surface dirt, oil, tar, grease, and mill film should be removed before applying the TEMP SHIELD Elastomeric Radiation Control Coating. TEMPSHIELD can be applied by airless spray equipment or by brush/roller only. It should be applied evenly without build-up. Multiple coats are recommended, to a total wet film thickness of 300 microns (0.3mm).
