Crystalline Waterproofing Technology

Drytex-CW400 is a premium crystalline waterproofing compound specifically engineered to provide a permanent solution to water leakage, ingress, or seepage in concrete structures or cementitious substrates. It consists of Portland cement, well-graded sands, and active moisture-activated chemicals that penetrate the concrete’s capillaries and interstices. Upon contact with water, these chemicals react to form dense, insoluble crystals, effectively blocking the passage of water and sealing the structure from all directions.

This crystalline system is equally effective against both positive and negative water pressures, including hydrostatic and osmotic pressures. When applied to areas in direct contact with water, Drytex-CW400 accelerates the rate of crystallization and penetration into the concrete, providing faster and more efficient waterproofing. After curing, the active chemicals remain dormant in the concrete, reactivating if exposed to water in the future to ensure continued protection.

For optimal results, the substrate should be sufficiently moist before application, as moisture is crucial to initiating the crystallization process. Once fully integrated with the concrete, Drytex-CW400 provides long-lasting, robust protection through its advanced crystalline technology, delivering an enduring barrier against water infiltration.
