WATER BASED CONCRETE CURING COMPOUND
CURECRETE 262 is a water-based, white-pigmented concrete curing compound formulated with wax-based dispersions and selected white pigments. When properly applied, it forms a premium-grade membrane that optimizes water retention. The white pigment reflects the sun’s rays, helping to keep the concrete surface cooler and preventing excessive heat buildup.
Designed to minimize the rapid evaporation of water from fresh concrete, CURECRETE 262 ensures uniform hydration, and adequate strength development, and reduces the risk of plastic shrinkage cracks. It is ideal for exterior horizontal surfaces, including highways, airports, streets, and curb paving. However, it is not recommended for residential applications.
CURECRETE 262 offers optimal curing performance, particularly in protecting concrete from excessive sun exposure. Additionally, it seals the concrete, preventing the ingress of waterborne salts such as chlorides, sulfates, and atmospheric carbon dioxide gas. Known for its excellent curing and sealing properties, the product is cost-effective, labor-saving, and user-friendly, with a ready-to-use, sprayable formula that delivers superior UV stability and performance.
