ACOUSTIC FINISH
AFC202 is a finish-coat acoustic plastering compound for use as part of the Vibraaso AcouTex Acoustic Ceiling System. It is supplied in powder form and is suitable for spray application. AFC202 can be finished to a textured or smooth finish according to application method employed. It is a pre-coloured system available in a range of 50 attractive shades. Special colours may be supplied on request
Application
The mixed paste of AFC202 is applied by spray using a Spray plaster machine. To achieve a smooth finish, firstly apply a coat of AFC202 at a rate of 0.6-0.9kg/m2 and float to a smooth surface with a steel trowel. When dry the surface may be touched- up to remove any defects. If a textured pattern is required apply a further light coat by spray.
Packing
AFC202 is supplied in 5kg pails and 15kg bags.
Storage
Store bags in a clean dry area protected from direct sunlight and extreme heat and cold. Unopened bags can be stored for 6 months. Use oldest material first.
